‘How To’ Guides
Our interactive ‘How To’ guides are designed to help you familiarize yourself with the Backbase environment quickly and intuitively. You’ll get all to know all the essentials, plus tips on how best to tackle key tasks throughout the development process.
You’re never on your own with Backbase; our community of experts is always standing by to help. We’re happy to share our knowledge to ensure you’re creating (and having) the best experience possible. We hope you’ll share your thoughts and ideas too.
Once you’ve completed Portal Training you’ll know all the ins and outs of Backbase Portal’s integrated functions and features. You will be in complete control of your own portal, with expert knowledge of how to create and manage different kinds of content with ease.
I would definitely recommend the ‘Training’ section to Backbase newcomers. My Backbase content is fully searchable, which is great! If we’re working on anything from installation, configuration, or development we can always find the right details and extra insights in the ‘How To’ and ‘Documentation’ sections. And the ‘Reference’ section is a big help when it comes to configuration settings.

You won’t find a better resource on Backbase Portal; the ‘Documentation’ section contains everything you need to know about installation, configuration, and how to develop for the portal. I like the forum because you can communicate directly with Backbase employees, and all the questions and solutions are available for anyone else to see and learn from.
My Backbase has been an essential resource for me. It provides a central entry point to access everything you need to know about Backbase Portal. I’ve used the Training section to research solutions and recently used the material on mashup services to create a new personalized campaign messaging service on our site.
The ‘How To Guides’ have been excellent for keeping me up to date with the latest on Backbase Portal development. My Backbase in general has been invaluable in helping me start and standup maven projects for various customers who all use unique environments. The ‘Training’ courses are my favorite, they’re well written and divided into easy to follow modules according to experience. They really are a great vehicle for self-learning.
